Margaret Pfeiffer

Margaret Pfeiffer of Warwick, NY passed away on May 2, 2021 at Garnet Medical Center. She was 88 years old.

 

Born on September 11, 1932 in the Bronx, she was the daughter of Patrick and Hannah (McCarthy) Cotter.

 

Margaret worked at the renowned Playboy Club in McAfee, NJ back in the day, as a banquet captain and had many great stories to tell from her time working there.

 

More recently, Margaret loved to participate in the senior club activities, playing bingo and cards and going on trips with her friends and neighbors from Campsite Way.  A family statement reads “Margaret was a fantastic mom, grandmother and great-grandmother.”

 

Margaret is survived by her five children: Donna Pfeiffer of Seattle, WA, Christine McGoldrick of Monroe, NY; Ronald Pfeiffer of Everett, WA, Patrice France of Lakewood, PA, and Jeannine Pfeiffer of Closter, NJ; nine grandchildren: Nichole Moe, Carissa Pfeiffer, Billy Tully, Jamie and Meghan Enriquez, Patrick, Erin and Kelly McGoldrick, and Maggie Scalli; and six great-grandchildren: Chloe Van Houten, Aaliyah Read, Dallas, Eli, and Phoenix Moe, and Goldie Enriquez. She was predeceased by her sister, Patsy Antonacci.

 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.

I’m so sorry for your loss. She was a great lady and she was a very special women. She was a special person to our family. I remember her coming to our apt. on Third Ave. & 72nd St. in the city.
