Catherine M. Ryan of Warwick, NY, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2020. She was 97 years old.

Born in Brooklyn, NY on June 13, 1923, she was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Watson.

Kay was a parishioner at St. Stephen RC Church, Warwick. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren kept her young at heart and she enjoyed spending time with all of them.

She is survived by five sons: Paul and his wife Laura of Arlington, VA; Neil and his wife Lois of Warwick, NY; John and his wife Heather of Yonkers, NY; D. Sean and his wife Lisa of Westtown, NY and Patrick and his wife Carol of Middletown, NY; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John M. Ryan and son, Matthew.

Memorial Visitation will be on Friday, October 2, 2020 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 8:00 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Warwick Ambulance, P.O. Box 315, Warwick, NY 10990.

Mom you are so missed. I could not have asked for a better Mother in law. You and Dad welcomed me into this family 46 years ago. Your love and support over the years has taught me how to be a Mom, Grandmother and a mother in law. You and Dad will always be in that special place in my heart. Missing you but now it’s your time to rest , you’ve done your job here on earth. Love you, Heather
