Diane P. Delaney of Warwick, NY, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2020 with her loving husband by her side. She was 64 years old.

 

Born in Teaneck, NJ, on November 5, 1955, she was the daughter of Peter and Marion Malone.

 

A family statement reads, “Diane loved photography, the Jersey Shore, camping on Lake George, and the family cabin in the Adirondacks. But her favorite thing was being with her family. That was #1 in her life and that’s what we are most thankful for.” 

 

Diane is survived by her husband of 39 years, Robert; daughter, Danielle Delaney and her companion James Berry; son, Michael Delaney and his wife Megan and their children: Michael, Thomas and Jack; son, James Delaney and his companion Breeanna Little; brother, Daniel Malone; sister, Arlene Key and her husband Doug; many nieces and nephews; and dog, Izzy.

 

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from 2 to 4:00 p.m. and 7 to 9:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 8:45 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.

Our deepest condolences on the loss of such a dear woman, terrific mother, and wonderful person. We have great memories of our kids having play dates and their years at St. Stephen's school. Bob and kids, I was heartbroken hearing of Diane's passing. You were so kind to me when we first came to Warwick. Bob and Dee were there for me whenever we needed any help, and we did.I will never forget. The world lost a true angel. My thoughts are with you all Mary

Dee was a wonderful friend, wife , mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all of us who loved her. I will forever cherish our friendship and all of the wonderful memories we shared.
