Maxine (Tressa) Linton

Maxine (Tressa) Linton, of Wurtsboro, NY (formerly of Warwick, NY) passed away on January 24, 2019 at Park Manor Rehabilitation Center, Middletown, NY. She was 86 years old.

Born to Marcus and Mildred (Eddington) Lux, on September 13, 1932 in Buffalo, NY, she was one of 18 children and outlived all of her siblings.

Maxine was married to the late Donald Linton, who predeceased her in 2012.

She worked in ShopRite of Warwick as a Meat Wrapper for many years before retirement.

Maxine is survived by her loving family: her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be on Monday, January 28 from 5 - 8:00 p.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick, NY. There will be a funeral service on Tuesday, January 29 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
