He was born on January 13, 1942 in the Netherlands, the son of Walter Nop and Elizabeth Malda Nop.  He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed visiting with friends and relatives and loved being surrounded by his family.  He was a retired dairy farmer who took great pride in his farm.  Bing was an active member of the Goshen Christian Reformed Church where he served as an elder, deacon, and school board member of the Goshen Christian School. He always made an effort to visit the elderly and shut-ins. Bing is survived by his wife of 52 years Betty (Falkena), four daughters and their spouses: Charlene Hamill (Robert); Janene Arnold (Terrence); Jolene Larsen (Michael); Lorene Robinson (Marc); his grandchildren Tyler, Trevor, Amanda, Jessica, Dean, Chambers, Rouen, Vallen; three brothers Jerry Nop (Charlotte) of Plainview, TX, Hank Nop (Alice) of Salisbury, VT, Martin Nop (Marguerite) of Montgomery, NY; a sister Julie Wildshut (Randy) of Warwick, NY; and numerous nieces & nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother, Johannes Nop and a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law Ralph & Florence Falkena.

Family and friends are invited for visitation on Monday, February 19 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Goshen Christian Reformed Church, 2440 Route 17A, Goshen, NY 10924.  A Celebration of Life will be held at the Goshen Christian Reformed Church on Tuesday, February 20 at 11:00 a.m.
