I was so very, very sad to hear of "Aunt" Regina's passing. Growing up together with the Lewand family in New Hyde Park, us Motykas were so very fond of Regina and Ed. Regina was perhaps the kindest, most thoughtful, and beautiful person I have known. When my daughter Maya was 2 (she is now 16), I brought her to meet Regina. It was like having a tie to my mother. I also remember Aunt Regina holding my hand at my mother's burial. Such deep and honest caring and compassion. May she rest in peace. She will be remembered with love. Mary Jo Motyka
