Margaret M. Mitchell

Margaret M. Mitchell, of Warwick, NY, passed away on November 14, 2017 at her home.  She was 79 years old.

Born on January 14, 1938 in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Marian (McDonnell) Duffy.

She was married to the late John C. Mitchell, Jr. (2003).

A homemaker, Margaret was a volunteer at St. Anthony Community Hospital and the Albert Wisner Public Library.  She was a member of St. Stephen’s RC Church 

She is survived by her sons:  John C. Mitchell III and his companion Robin Baggatta of Milford, PA,  Robert Mitchell and his wife Robin of Campbell Hall, NY, and Timothy Mitchell and his wife Jennifer of Highland Mills, NY; and her daughter, Megan Fallin and her husband Donald of Fayetteville, NC.  She is also survived by her loving grandchildren:  Casey, Sean, Jordan and Ryann.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 19th, from 2:00-5:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.  Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Monday at St. Stephen RC Church, followed by interment in St. Stephen Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be sent to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.

John, Rob, Tim and Megan, Was sorry to read about your Mom. I hope she didn't suffer. Carol and I talked about coming but we just buried our brother Brian a few weeks ago.
