Ronald Richard Khaleel

Ronald Richard Khaleel passed away in the early morning hours on Wednesday, August 30th , 2017 at the age of 86.

Born on February 17, 1932 in Kingston, Jamaica, he was the son of the late Shahadie and Ramza Khaleel.

He was a graduate of Brooklyn College and a veteran, having served in the U. S. Army’s Berlin Brigade in the early 1950’s.  A long-time resident of New City, New York, Mr. Khaleel had a forty-year career in the printing industry in New York City. He also served as a Trustee and a Deacon at Grace Conservative Baptist Church in Nanuet, New York for many years.  He moved to Warwick, New York in 1999.

Mr. Khaleel is survived by; his wife of 61 years Barbara, son David, his nephews Richard and Michael, and his nephew’s widow Judith Khaleel.  He was predeceased by; his daughter Tara, his brother Edmund, his sister-in-law Evelyn and his nephew Robert.  A devoted husband, loving father and friend, his presence will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 5th, from 10:00-11:00 am at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow immediately after the service at  Warwick Cemetery.
