Francine deFere Tyler

Francine deFere Tyler, of Warwick since 1998 and loved the town, passed away on May 9, 2017 at St. Anthony Community Hospital. She was 87 years old.

Born on August 9, 1929 in Rochester, NY, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Rebecca (Proseus) deFere.

A homemaker and a nature lover, Francine loved to write poetry and was published in the magazine, “Dirt”.

She is survived by her children: Rhett Tyler and his wife Beth Liotta-Tyler, Mark Tyler and his wife Jeanne, Christine Tyler, and Suzanne Gindhart and her husband John; four grandchildren: Christopher Tyler, Daniel Tyler, John Gindhart and Robin Gindhart. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert deFere and a sister, Yolande McWilliams.

Funeral service will be held at 9:30 am on Friday, May 12^th, at Christ Church, Warwick. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Bayshore, Long Island.
