Roger Strella

Roger Strella, of Warwick, passed away on May 18, 2018 at home.  He was 74 years old.

Born on December 28, 1943 in Teaneck, NJ, he was the son of the late Joseph A. Strella and Betty A. (Hill) Strella.

He was married to the late Patricia (Lynch) Strella.

Mr. Strella served in the US Air Force and was the owner of The Front End Shop in Mahwah, NJ.

He enjoyed boating on the Hudson River.

He is survived by his daughter, Christine Free and her husband Thomas of Greenwood Lake; his grandsons:  Thomas Free, Jr. and Jason Free; his loyal worker, Ira Okon; many other relatives; and his dog, Riley.

Services will be private.

My condolences. I knew Roger and Riley from my many walks past his home with our bassets. So sad to think I won't see either of them. My fur kids loved Riley. When Roger 1st met us he tried to convince me Riley was vicious...yeah right! He was a good guy and neighbor.
