Beatrice Sinclair

Beatrice Sinclair of West Milford, NJ (formerly of New Hyde Park, Long Island), passed away on January 31, 2018 at Chilton Memorial Hospital. She was one month away from turning 95 years old.


She was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 1, 1923 to Morris Bach and Nettie Gutt.


Beatrice was a homemaker until 1977 when her husband Wallace passed away. She then worked as a bookkeeper for lawyers and accountants on Long Island.


In 1945, Beatrice worked for Eastern Aircraft and received a certificate for her loyal effort contributing to the company winning the Army-Navy production Award.


Beatrice had many good friends and we are thankful and blessed by having known them.


She is survived by her son, Neil Sinclair and daughter-in-law, Frances Sinclair, and Fran’s mother, Joan Nagrod of Warwick, NY and three grandchildren, Jason Wallace Sinclair and his wife Jennifer of Kensington, MD, Margaret Ann Sinclair of Boston, MA, and Jaclyn Nancy Sinclair of Westport, CT. She also leaves behind many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, NY with a 1:00 p.m. graveside service at Beth Moses Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
