Shari Gail Cohen, of New York, NY and formerly of Bellvale, NY, passed away on June 19, 2017. She was 72 years old.
Born on March 8, 1945 in Kew Garden, Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Bertha (Weiss) Cohen.
She grew up in Bellvale, NY, attended Green Mountain College and was a graduate of Syracuse University. She was active in the dog community in New York City. Before retiring, Shari was a buyer with Bloomingdale’s in New York City and designed for both Carole Horn and Nuliples,.
She is survived by a sister, Michele Carter of Warwick; her nieces and nephews: Robert Carter of Phoenixville, PA, Beth Pivovar of Stony Point, NY, Craig Carter of Washington, and Julie Carter of Middletown, NY; many great-nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by nephews Gary Carter and Michael Carter.
Graveside services were held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Warwick Cemetery.
