John and I were classmates at Warwick High and graduated together in 1978 and then we lost touch for many years until about 10 years ago when John was working for the Town and helped my family with loads of dirt from the annual ditch clean outs after winter. John was always a kind caring man and I will miss the monthly diner meetings since relocating back to the Orange County area. God bless and keep the Degnan family in His care !!

I cannot think of anyone with a bigger heart and more compassion than John. He spoke fondly and often about a lot of things, most notably his family, especially his nieces and nephews. A tremendous light is out here on earth, but Heaven is that much brighter today. Much love to Aunt Frances, Uncle Charlie and my cousins. RIP John.
