Arthur Joseph Salvato

Arthur Joseph Salvato, of Warwick, passed away on October 7, 2016 at St. Anthony Community Hospital.  He was 84 years old.

Born on March 7, 1932 in Bay Ridge Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Sebastian John and Mary (Brande) Salvato.

Arthur was married to Ellinor M. (Hellstrom) Salvato for 56 years before her death in 2015.

Before retiring, he was a Margin Clerk for New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street in New York City.

He is survived by his children:  John A. Salvato and his wife Trish of Westtown, Steven Salvato and his wife Kathie of Warwick, Lisa McQuade and her husband Gerard of Monroe, and Michael Salvato and his wife Laurie of Monroe; and his nine grandchildren:  Justin, Ryan, Samantha, Christopher, Daniel, Rachel, Maria, Laura and Olivia; and four great-grandchildren:  Griffin, Ellieanne, Ava and Zachary.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 12th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.  Funeral service will be at 10:30 am on Thursday at the funeral home, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Salesian Missions, 2 Le Fevres Lane, New Rochelle, NY 10801 or a local favorite charity in memory of Arthur.
