Wanda "Terri" Murphy

Wanda T. “Terri” Murphy, of Greenwood Lake, passed away on October 3, 2016 in Englewood Hospital, Englewood, NJ. 

Born on September 14, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Antoni and Antonina (Drazek) Pekala.

She was married for 56 years to Daniel J. Murphy.

She was formerly an Executive Secretary with the United States Navy Yard in Brooklyn, NY. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Greenwood Lake.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel J. Murphy of Greenwood Lake;  her son, Steven J. Murphy and his wife Mary L. of Memphis, TN;  her daughter, Karen Annicaro and her husband Frank of Warwick;  four beloved grandchildren:  Ashley Annicaro, Frank D. Annicaro, Analise Murphy and Daniel Murphy.  She was predeceased by a son, Gerard Murphy and a brother, Frederick Pekala.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Holy Rosary Church, Greenwood Lake, followed by interment in St. Stephen Cemetery, Warwick.  No visitation.

Memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
