Peter John Porkka, Jr., of Richmond, Kentucky, passed away on July 15, 2016 in Kentucky. He was 58 years old.

Born on September 29, 1957 in Teaneck, NJ, he was the son of the late Peter John Porkka, Sr. and Margaret Tenewitz Porkka.

He was married to Brenda (Flood) Porkka.

Peter was a Computer Programmer.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda of Warwick, NY; his sons: Brandon Porkka and Patrick Porkka of Warwick; a granddaughter, Lilliana Porkka; his siblings: Judy Tymon and her husband James of Hamilton Square, NJ, Barbara Allan of Toms River, NJ, Kenny Porkka and his wife Dorothy of Park Ridge, NJ, JoAnne Chaney of Irvine, KY, Lisa Kondvar of Warwick, RI and Tommy Porkka and wife Maria of Rivervale, NJ.

Memorial visitation will be on Saturday, July 23^rd, from 10:00 am – 1:30 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Funeral Mass will be at 2:00 pm at St. Stephen Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick, NY 20990.

Memorial donations may be made to Warwick Valley Humane Society, PO Box 61, Warwick, NY 10990.
