Danielle Zannetti Sorace, of Greenwood Lake, passed away on July 17, 2016 at St. Anthony Community Hospital. She was 44 years old.

Born on February 4, 1972 in Suffern, NY, she was the daughter of Michael Zannetti and Josephine Piliaskas Zannetti.

She was married to Christopher Sorace.

Danielle was employed at All Saints’ Church Preschool in Glen Rock, NJ and attended Warwick Reformed Church.

She is survived by her husband, Christopher, of Greenwood Lake; her son, Mark Sorace; her daughter, Nikki Sorace; her parents, Michael and Josephine Zannetti; a brother, Eric Zannetti and his wife Tamara of Vernon, NJ, and their children Zachary and Willow.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 19^th, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, followed by a funeral service at 8:00 pm. Private cremation.

Memorial donations may be sent to American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.

I was friends with her in high school, we just got reacquainted via Facebook, my heart breaks for the friend I lost, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I will miss you and love you Danielle xoxo

I was fortunate enough to have a great childhood and carry with me many fond memories of my younger days. Many of those including my time attending All Saints Church Pre-School so many years ago now. In fact, I actually remember Ms. Danielle's first day at All Saints way back in 1990 when I was just 7 years old. I remember thinking that she was such a sweet person who seemingly always had a great, big smile on her face. As I got bigger, it seemed like her smile did as well each time I came back to visit. That's what I'll always remember about her. I was saddened when I learned of her passing, but I write my thoughts to you with a big smile on my face. I just can't help smiling whenever I think about Ms. Danielle. I'm so lucky to have had someone like that in my childhood. My sincerest condolences to her family.
