James John Revella Sr.

James John Revella, Sr. (Vincenzo) of Warwick, passed away on July 5th 2016 at St. Anthony Community Hospital.  He was 91 years old

Born on March 21, 1925 in Staten Island, NY, he was one of four children (all predeceased) of the late Nicola Revella and Amelia Pesce Revella.

He was married to Rosemarie (Kaufmann) Revella.

An Army veteran of World War II serving in the Battle of the Bulge, he was a member of American Legion Oakwood Post 9587 in Staten Island.  He retired as a Foreman/Dock Builder with B & O Railroad, Staten Island. 

James enjoyed working around his home, always finding something to do.  He loved to golf, sing, go to the casino, and play the horses.  He adored his daughters. 

He is survived by his wife, Rosemarie of Warwick; his children:  Nicholas A. Revella and his wife Susan of Strasburg, PA, Terrance A. Revella and his wife Christine of Las Vegas, NV, Ronald C. Revella of Middletown, NY, Jacquelyn R. Rivera and her husband David of Warwick, Ellie A. Giallorenzo of Staten Island, NY, and Rosemarie Conroy and her husband Keith of Middletown, NY;  22 grandchildren;  many great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a son, James J. Revella, Jr. in 2012.

Visitation will be on Thursday and Friday July 7th & 8th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.  Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Saturday at St. Stephen RC Church, followed by interment in Orange County Veterans Cemetery, with military honors.
