Eleanor Frances Conklin

Eleanor Frances Conklin, a lifelong resident of Warwick, passed away on June 28, 2016 at Schervier Pavilion.  She was 94 years old. 

Born on January 29, 1922 in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Anthony Frawley and Mary Elizabeth Coates. 

She was married to the late Stanley Kryszczuk and the late Harold “Babe” Conklin. 

Before retiring, Eleanor was a Registered Nurse, working at St. Anthony Community Hospital and the offices of Dr. Gerner and Dr. Bradner.  She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion in Warwick and a member of the Warwick Reformed Church. 

Eleanor enjoyed traveling, walking on the beach in Florida, and enjoyed fishing in Canada. 

The family would like to thank all those who provided excellent and loving care to Fran at Schervier Pavilion. 

She is survived by her step-daughter Cathy L. Conklin of Warwick; a sister, Lillian Storms of Warwick; a sister-in-law, Clara Frawley of Warwick; a niece and nephews.   She was predeceased by a brother, Floyd Frawley.

Visitation will be on Thursday, June 30th,  from 5:00-8:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick.  Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Friday at the funeral home, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
