Marie N. Roque, of Warwick (formerly of Bronx, NY), passed away on June 13, 2016 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 69 years old.

Born on March 31, 1947 in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Ramon and Juana (Castro) Arias.

She was married to the late Marlin Roque (2007).

Marie was a Registered Nurse with the NYC Department of Health and formerly at Mt Sinai Hospital, New York City. She was a member of Living Word Church in Hewitt, NJ and she was a bowling instructor.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennine Marchena and her husband William of Warwick; two grandchildren: Marline and Brianna Marchena; a sister, Betsey Ramos of the Bronx.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 17^th, from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, with a service at 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at 11:00 am on Saturday at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx, NY.

Mariie was a wonderful lady. She always knew when I was miss a Sunday service which was not that open. She always laugh at Jimmy s jokes. What a wonderful mom, grandmaand friend she was to everyone around her. She is in heaven now .
