Anna Isola

Anna Isola, of Warwick (formerly of Union City, NJ), passed away on October 21, 2015 at her home. She was 82 years old.

Born on March 20, 1933 in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Carmela (Losardo) Militello and stepdaughter of Giuseppe Gentile.

She was married to the late Francesco (Frank) Isola, who passed away in 2001.

A homemaker, Anna was a member of St. Stephens Church and St. Stanislaus Church. She was formerly a Cook at the Holy Rosary Academy in Union City, NJ.

She is survived by her children: Maryann Leppert and son-in-law Bob of Warwick, NY, Frank Isola and daughter-in-law Constance of Rutherford, NJ, Joseph Isola and daughter-in-law Rosita of Union City,NJ, Samuel Isola and daughter-in-law Lisa of Rutherford, NJ, Theresa Warren and son-in-law Andy of Warwick, NY, Louise Weller and son-in-law Lynn of Warwick, NY, Anthony Isola and daughter-in-law Catherine of Circleville, NY, and Michael Isola of Warwick, NY; 15 grandchildren; and a sister, Frances Kinney of Garfield, NJ; and nieces and nephews.. She was predeceased by a sister, Josephine Graziano.

The family would like to extend their special thanks to St. Anthony Hospital, Schervier Pavilion,Orange Regional Medical Center, Dr. Cappelleri, Dr. Dermigny, Dr. Fink, Dr. Bezdicek and Dr. Koulova for their kind care for Anna during her illness.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 23^rd, from 4:00-8:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Saturday at St. Stanislaus RC Church, 17 Pulaski Highway, Pine Island, NY, followed by interment in Weekawken Cemetery, No. Bergen, NJ.

Memorial donations may be sent to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
