Dennis J. Gillespie, Jr., of Warwick, NY, passed away on April 29, 2015. He was 43 years old.

Born on October 19, 1971 in Englewood, NJ, he was the son of Dennis Gillespie, Sr. and the late Cheryl (McCarthy) Gillespie.

Dennis was a self-employed contractor.

A family statement reads: “Dennis was a son, a brother, an uncle, and a good friend to so many. For those who had the good fortune of knowing Dennis, they will remember him for his kind soul and generous spirit. He will be deeply missed by all”

He is survived by his father, Dennis Gillespie, Sr., of Warwick; his brother, Patrick Gillespie and his wife Patricia of Warwick; sister, Kerri Muzuruk and her husband Douglas of Youngsville, NY; his brother, Ryan Gillespie and his wife Carol of Glen Spey, NY; his nieces and nephews: Tyler, Janelle, John, Carli, Paige, Benjamin and Holden; and maternal aunt, Kathleen McCarthy of Hackensack, NJ.

Visitation will be on Saturday, May 2^nd, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick, NY. Funeral service will be at 1:30 pm on Sunday at the funeral home, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Tomorrows Children’s Fund, 30 Prospect Ave., Hackensack, NJ 07601.
