Elsie Sloat

Elsie Sloat, of Warwick, passed away on April 29, 2015 at St. Anthony Community Hospital. She was 87 years old.

Born on November 25, 1927 in Warwick, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Mabel (Search) Green.

She was married to the late Frank B. Sloat (1974).

Before retiring, Elsie worked as a Bank Teller at National Bank of Florida, Florida, NY.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Shorter and her husband Wayne of Warwick; a sister, Mildred Carr of Goshen; sister-in-laws Julia Putkowski of Florida, NY and Alberta Green of Howells, NY; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 30^th, from 5:00-8:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Friday at the funeral home, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
