Irene McDonald

Irene Mabel McDonald, of Warwick, passed away at home on April 16, 2015. She was 94 years old.

Born on February 12, 1921 in Grenada, West Indies, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Evelina (Scott) Carter.

She was married to the late Kelvin McDonald.

Before retiring, Irene was a Registered Nurse at Brooklyn Hospital.

She is survived by her children: Barry Mc Donald and his wife Eunssok of Warwick, Sharon McDonald-Johnson and her husband William of Long Island, and Kenneth McDonald and his wife Sharon of New Jersey; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 20^th, from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Funeral service will be at 1:30 pm at the funeral home, followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.
