David A. Lankering

David A. Lankering, of Warwick, NY, passed away on April 6, 2015 at Nyack Hospital, Nyack, NY. He was 68 years old.

Born on October 3, 1946 in Hoboken, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Aldoph and Ruth (Cullen) Lankering.

He was married to Jean (Cuti) Lankering.

David worked in Sales with Numax, Inc., in Tappan, New York.

He enjoyed playing golf and was an amateur photographer.

He is survived by his wife, Jean of Warwick; his daughter, Katherine Chaloupka and her husband Donald of East Greenwich, RI; his son, Peter Lankering and his fiance Jessica Sobczak of Lancaster, NY; and his grandchildren, Alexandra and Patrick.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 8^th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Thursday at St. Stephen RC Church, Warwick followed by interment in Warwick Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
