Lorraine A. Jones

Lorraine A. Jones, of Warwick, passed away on January 17, 2015 at St. Anthony Community Hospital, Warwick.  She was 78 years old.

Born on July 1, 1936 in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Ovila and Gillebertte B. (Ovellette) Salois.

She was married to Gary C. Jones and the late John Forsyth.

She was a Dietary Aide with Bon Secours at St. Anthony Community Hospital.

A family statement reads:  “A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she enjoyed shopping, eating out, the slots, and trips to the casinos.”

She is survived by her husband, Gary C. Jones of Warwick; two sons:  Michael Forsyth of Monroe, and Steve Forsyth of Warwick; her grandchildren:  Jennifer Bradley of Warwick, Jessica Forsyth of Warwick, Jonathan Forsyth of Hazelton, PA, Samantha Forsyth of Monroe, and Thomas Forsyth of Monroe; great-granddaughter, Annabeth Bradley; a sister, Jeanine Andrews of Warwick. 

Visitation will be on Monday, January 19th, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.  Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Interment will be held privately in Calverton Cemetery.
