Regina M. Zucchino (Ree), of Warwick, passed away at home with family by her side on November 16, 2014, after a two-year struggle with cancer.  She was 63 years old.

Born on June 17, 1951 in Englewood, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Patricia Clare.

Ree was a freelance gardener whose passion for gardening, and creativity in landscaping, eventually led to a featured article in Country Gardens magazine and inclusion in a Warwick Garden tour. She was an accomplished quilter, enjoyed photography, and loved singing and playing guitar.

She is survived at home by her husband Dennis, and by her children: Jessica Tejeda and her husband Tom of Milford, PA, Ian Zucchino and partner Kristin of Queens, NY, Jason Zucchino and his wife Randi of Goshen NY and two grandchildren:  Isabella and Alexander Tejeda.  She is also survived by her siblings; Theresa Clare and husband Kevin Monahan, Patricia Johnson, John Clare and Jimmy Clare, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Charles Clare and her sister Elizabeth Clare.

The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Hackensack University Medical Center and the John Theurer Cancer Center for their loving, compassionate care, and of course many thanks for the support and love from members of her family and friends.

Regina was also a lifelong lover of animals; therefore, we would appreciate any memorial donations be sent in her name to Warwick Valley Humane Society, PO Box 61, Warwick, NY 10990.
